Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you deliver every wedding photo?
A: I deliver the vast majority of them. As part of my service, I go through every image one-by-one, discarding any technically incorrect photos (blurry or unusable shots, duplicates, unflattering expressions, etc).
Q: How many photos do you deliver?
A: I would say around 400 images for a full day wedding and 200 for half day coverage, sometimes more, sometimes a little bit less. Each wedding is unique. I hate to say it but it depends.
Q: We want a pre-wedding photo shoot, how many images will we get?
A: For a 1 hour couples portrait session I usually end up delivering around 30 images.
Q: Do you shoot RAW or JPEG?
A: I shoot raw and convert them to jpeg after editing.
Q: Do you shoot with flash or natural light?
A: Both, although I prefer to work with natural light when possible.
Q: Will you, personally, be photographing my wedding?
A: Yes, sometimes with an assistant or second photographer, contract depending.
Q: How long should we set aside for photos on the day?
A: That is up to you, although I would suggest 45 minutes. It depends how many group shots you want, as well as the individual couple photos. I work fast, but weddings are notorious for running late if they are self-coordinated.
Q: Our friend is a photographer, do you mind if he/she takes some photos?
A: That's absolutely fine, as long as we don't get in each-others shots, no problem.
Q: How long until we get our wedding images?
A: I aim to have them all done and ready for you within 3 weeks post wedding date.
Q: How will we receive the photos?
A: I'll mail them to you via USB, or if you'd rather a digital download that can be arranged.
