How long do you stay?
Coverage is flexible, from intimate elopements to full-day celebrations. A full day runs from morning preparations through to the first dance, typically around 9PM.
Do we have to pose?
Not at all. My style is natural and documentary — I prioritise real, unscripted moments. Couple portraits take around 20 minutes: a brief break, a breath, and some relaxed photos without holding up the party.
Will you take group photos?
Of course — these are important records. I’d recommend a concise list of 6–8 must-haves so you spend less time on formals and more time celebrating.
What if it rains?
Living in Wales, I’m always prepared for liquid sunshine! Rain creates incredibly atmospheric images. I carry professional backup cameras and dual-card slots, and can work with off-camera flash to make the most of any weather.
Booking
How do we book?
Fill out the contact form with your date and a few details. If I’m free, I’ll send over a contract and we can have a chat. Your date is secured once the deposit is paid.
Is there a deposit?
Yes — a non-refundable deposit reserves your date. The remaining balance is due closer to the wedding.
Can we meet first?
I’d love that — it’s important we click. We can meet for coffee in Powys or jump on a video call. All enquiries are obligation-free, and I promise no spam or marketing lists.
Editing & style
Do you edit all the photos?
Every image is individually hand-edited in my signature style, delivered as high-resolution files — perfect for printing at A4 or larger.
Will you retouch us?
I keep things authentic. I’ll tidy temporary distractions (a stray cable, a blemish), but I won’t alter your appearance. You should recognise yourselves in your photos.
Black & white versions?
Yes — some moments are just made for monochrome. Your final gallery includes a dedicated folder of black and white conversions.
Delivery & keepsakes
How long is the wait?
A sneak peek arrives within the first week. Your full edited gallery is typically delivered within 2–3 weeks.
How are images delivered?
You receive an online gallery for downloading and sharing, plus a physical USB for safekeeping.
Can we print our own photos?
Absolutely — you have full personal printing rights. Use your own printer, order through the gallery, or ask me for free advice on the best places to go.
Do you offer albums?
Yes — custom-designed, high-quality albums. You can even order one up to two years after the wedding.
Travel
Do you charge for travel?
Travel within Powys and the surrounding borders — including Shropshire and Herefordshire — is included. For venues further afield, a small contribution may apply, agreed before booking. No surprises.
