The Wedding Day
How long do you stay? I offer flexible coverage to suit your day, from intimate elopements to full-day celebrations. Full-day coverage typically captures everything from the morning preparations through to the first dance (or roughly 9:00 PM).
Do we have to pose? Not at all. My style is natural and documentary-focused, meaning I prioritize real, unscripted moments. I might give you a little gentle direction during your portraits to make sure you look your best, but you’ll never feel like you’re on a fashion shoot.
Will you take group/family photos? Of course. These are important records of your favorite people. I usually recommend a concise list of “must-haves” so you can spend less time formalizing and more time celebrating!
What if it rains? Living in Wales, I’m always prepared for a bit of “liquid sunshine!” Rain can actually create incredibly atmospheric and romantic images. I have plenty of tricks – including some creative off-camera flash work—to make the most of the weather.
The Booking Process
How do we book you? Simply fill out the contact form with your date and a few details about your plans. If I’m free, I’ll send over a contract and we can arrange a chat. Your date is officially secured once the deposit is paid.
Is there a deposit? Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date in my calendar. The remaining balance is then due closer to the wedding day.
Can we meet you first? I’d love that! It’s important that we click. We can meet up for a coffee locally in Powys or hop on a video call to discuss your vision.
Editing & Style
Do you edit all the photos? Every single image you receive is individually hand-edited in my signature style. They are delivered as high-resolution files, perfect for printing at A4 size or larger.
Will you “Photoshop” us? I believe in keeping things authentic. I will tidy up temporary distractions (like a stray power cable or a blemish), but I don’t alter your physical appearance or use heavy retouching. I want you to recognize yourselves in your photos!
Do we get Black & White versions? Yes. Some moments are just made for monochrome. I include a dedicated folder of black and white conversions in your final gallery.
Delivery & Keepsakes
How long is the wait for photos? I know you’ll be excited, so I send a “sneak peek” preview within the first week. Your full, edited gallery is typically delivered within 2–3 weeks.
How are images delivered? You will receive a beautiful online gallery for downloading and sharing, as well as a physical USB for safekeeping.
Can we print our own photos? Absolutely. You have full personal printing rights. You can use your own preferred printers, or order professional-grade prints directly through your online gallery.
Do you offer wedding albums? Yes! I offer custom-designed, high-quality albums. You can even decide to order one up to two years after the big day. If you’d rather DIY your album, I’m more than happy to offer free advice on the best places to go.
Travel & Logistics
Do you charge for travel? For weddings within Powys and the surrounding borders, travel is included. For venues further afield, I may ask for a small travel contribution, which we would agree upon before booking.
