Sometimes you don’t have to light the subject; instead, light the background to silhouette them. If I had not placed a flash behind the subject, their bodies would have blended into the beach. I also like how it has emphasised the little drops of rain and the wind, giving a stronger sense of the weather and of what the couple was feeling at the time.
